Delta 14″ Band Saw
The Delta 14″ Bandsaw has been around for quite a while.

A Little History on Delta
Delta machinery was founded over 90 years ago by Herbert Tautz in 1919. Like so many other businesses he started working out of his garage in Milwaukee.
Delta can lay claim to several innovations in power tools. In 1923 the first scroll saw, the “American Boy” was invented. Delta created their first band saw in the early 1930′s. They launched their first 14″ band saw in 1934. Even though today’s 14-inch band saws are more advanced, their appearance is very similar to the original design. With over 70 years experience in manufacturing
band saws, the Delta 14″ is one of the finest machines on the market.
If you are planning on purchasing a 14″ band saw you won’t be disappointed in a Delta.
The Delta 14 is sold by a number of suppliers around the country. When looking at prices for the unit you need to be careful as to whether or not the price includes shipping. In some instances shipping and home delivery can cost an additional $150.00. If you’re planning on home delivery you’ll need a lift gate truck and will pay additional for home delivery. The lowest priced delivery is a loading dock delivery in a commercial area. So if you have a friend with a pickup truck and the muscle to move it around this could be an option
